The PiYo™ Certification is a blend of Pilates and Yoga which includes several modifications for the group exercise environment. It offers exercise progressions for all levels of participants.
The PiYo™ Certification prepares the Group Exercise Instructor to teach Pilates/Yoga fusion classes. It allows instructors the freedom to design their own classes with their own music or the option of using our pre-designed class formats and music. Exercises are selected and balanced through strategic variations, (pose angles and application of force), with each specific movement. Each PiYo™ Lesson builds on the last to increase exercise adherence and avoid hitting plateaus.
Unlike many other instructor trainings, participants leave with everything they need to start teaching right away! AND… there are no hidden costs! Registration entitles you to a complete Lesson! Each participant will learn approximately 45 poses/exercises as well as receive:
* 60 min. music CD * Instructional DVD with sample class
* Choreography notes
* PiYo™ detailed Training Manual including approximately 45 poses/exercise with pictures * PiYo™ Instructor Training Certificate of Completion (mailed to participants 4-6 weeks after event) * 6 AFAA/.7 ACE ACE CEU/CEC’s (Many other organizations accept our continuing education once petitioned)
